Community Support ​Specialist

Job Requirements: Minimum of high school diploma or GED. The CSS must be highly sensitive to the needs of people with disabilities, exercise flexibility, manage crisis situations effectively with Alpha Homes Staff, demonstrate the ability to problem solve and work cooperatively.

Job Duties: Assume a supportive friendship role in relation to participants daily skills and community life, assist participants in all areas of personal care, provide transportation to program participants as may be required to achieve goal of community integration (staff may be required to drive company vehicles), assist participants to maintain residential environments in an orderly and clean manner in accordance with licensing requirements at all times, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and menu planning as may be required, assist in carrying out participant recreational programs (must be actively involved).

Supervisor of Community Services

Job Requirements: Minimum of a high diploma or GED. Emotionally mature adult who is capable of performing all job duties as delineated and is able to effectively deal with crisis situations. The Supervisor of Community Services needs to be able to establish a relationship with the participant which is based on friendship, trust, and support rather than custodial supervision. 

Job Standards: including Direct Care Duties, Supervision of CSS staff, maintain systems for keeping resident files updated, organized and available, assist in the development of resident program services service plans, monitor day to day operations of assigned facility, responsible for ensuring residents are getting outside programming, recreational activities, authority to implement and monitor staff in performance of job duties  and work directives. 

Coordinator of Residential Services

Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a related human/social services field with at least three years of professional level work experience in the field of community-based residential services. May consider commensurate related work experience in lieu of college degree.

Requires On-Call responsibility every 6th weekend and an On-Call day one day per week.

Standards: Maintains good attendance, must be able to work as a team remember, be able to provide direct care to Alpha consumers,  have a current valid driver's license at time of hire and have a driving record which is considered satisfactory to Alpha Homes and its professional livability carrier.

Duties: Assume a supportive friendship role in relation to participants' daily skills and community life, document and report to administration significant events of each participant on a daily basis whenever necessary conditions warrant it.

Responsibilities: The supervision, management, monitoring, administration and overall day to day programmatic operations of any and all assigned Alpha Homes Adult family homes and/or Supportive Apartment Community Living Arrangements to at all times ensure full compliance with the State of WI licensing standards, purchase service contractual agreements, and Alpha Homes standards and requirements ; Maintain daily close monitoring and supervision of direct care staff, conduct disciplinary personnel meetings in collaboration with HR department ; Conduct continues reviews and monitoring of consumer services needs and ISP's to ensure needs are being met at all times.

Human Resources Assistant

Job Requirements: College degree in human services or personnel field is desirable and/or equivalent work experience.

Duties: Assist Human Resources Director with all recruitment of Community Support Specialists, assist with staff scheduling, arrange new employee orientation/training, etc.
